Shekera Anderson

My names is shekera Anderson I was born and raised in Jamaica I'm 25 years old ,in high school I did cosmetology as my vocational subject then I started to do my family /friends hair that's when I realize that hair is my passsion thats smile the glow in their eyes just makes me feel complete like I'm worth something in life .after high school I wanted to further my career by going to cosmetology school but my dad didn't approve he thought cosmetology was not a career it was a side job so that's when I decided to go to nursing school I was not interested at first ,but my passion is to help people that's what I love to do and I did my best . at the age of 19 I migrated to the us where I continued being a nursing assistant but there was still avoid I wanted to do hair that was my passion. so I forgot about all the negativity and enrolled in cosmetology school.
