Hi, I'm Shelby!
I recently moved from Omaha, NE to Lockport, IL after earning my Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University in 2025.
I am currently an aspiring esthetician at Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove, IL, with a passion for skincare, beauty, and helping others feel confident in their own skin. My interest in esthetics comes from my love of learning and my desire to make a positive impact on the people I work with.
Just as professionals in the beauty industry have made me feel beautiful and confident, I hope to create that same feeling for my future clients.

I chose to attend Universal Spa Training Academy because of my own journey with skincare. After struggling with severe acne for years and trying what seems like every prescription out there, I understand firsthand how deeply skin concerns can affect a person's confidence and everyday life.
My experience sparked a passion for learning about skincare ingredients, treatments, and overall skin health.
Throughout my education, I have been especially interested in learning about individual skin concerns and how professional treatments and proper home care can come together to help clients achieve their goals. I believe that every client is unique, and I want to create an experience that is personalized for their individual needs.
As I continue growing in this industry, I am committed to furthering my education, improving my skills, and staying open to new opportunities.
