About me
Hello, my name is Shelby Pokora! With a degree in political science, nearly a decade in the service industry, and current pursuits to dive deeper into the world of beauty and business, I hope to be the definition of a multifaceted woman. While in esthetician school, I have expanded my skills in eyebrow work and love making people feel beautiful. Everyday I strive to meet new people and leave a lasting impression on everyone I encounter.

Why I'm here
My passion for health and beauty began early, from cutting my own bangs to experimenting with my grandmother's lipsticks. As a competitive cheerleader growing up, I became deeply involved in makeup and considered studying aesthetics in high school, but ultimately chose to attend college before.
After graduating college and moving from my hometown, my interest in aesthetics persisted. I explored eyebrow and lash artistry through tutorials and practice, realizing my degree wasn't my ultimate goal and I made the jump to attend aesthetics school.
Following graduation, I plan to become a master in eyebrow artistry as well as explore permanent makeup specifically micro blading. My long term goal is to open my own business specializing in these services and providing a fun and relaxing environment for all of my clients.
