Why I'm here

Since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be an esthetician. I've always admiredtheir longstanding dedication to helping others feel comfortable in their own skin.

As I grew up, I noticed how many people, including my mom, fixated on their skin.Which sparked my interest in skincare and helping those with skin challenges. My mom has faced skin issues from a young age, particularly after living in Mexico, where the strong sun rays caused significant damage. Over the years, this exposure resulted in scars and sun damage that persist to this day. Despite trying various treatments and products, the damage remains. After being exposed to the sun for long periods of time. The scars it left on her skin have caused her to feel uncomfortable and lack confidence in her appearance. Although she sees her skin this way, I can't help but see her scars as part of what makes her beautiful.

There are other examples as well, such as how, in high school, everyone deals with breakouts and gets self-conscious of how they look. I wish they could see themselves the way I see them beautiful and deserving of self-love. Personally, my skin is very delicate due to my eczema, making it sensitive to harsh chemicals in skincare products. Because of this, I’m cautious about what I use and often have to try different products to avoid irritation. One time, I used a product my doctor recommended. The next day, my face was red and burning. I couldn’t use any of my usual products, and the only thing that helped was natural honey. This experience made me overthink the products I use and how my face reacts to them. Sometimes, it leaves me feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. I never want anyone to feel the way I do about my appearance. Everyone is beautiful; it’s all about embracing and being confident in your own skin.

All in all, my passion for the beauty industry stems from a deep desire to help others feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. Having witnessed my mom's struggles with sun damage and visible scars, I am driven to advocate for skincare that promotes self-love and acceptance. Additionally, my personal experience with eczema has in heightened my sensitivity to skincare products, emphasizing the importance of gentle and effective solutions. In the end, my goal is to empower individuals to embrace their unique beauty, cultivating a positive relationship with their skin, and foster a sense of confidence and self-assurance.
