Sierra Evans

 Hi Y'all, I'm Sierra! Here's how my story goes... I honestly never saw my self going down this career path, I worked as a gymnastics coach for 5 years and in that time I really learned how to communicate with kids that I coached as well as their families this helped me leading in to my next job path. I became a Nurse aide working at a local hospital I thought this was going to be what I loved but after a 1 year working there I realized I had lost myself, I stopped doing things that made me happy like photography. I was in the salon one day and I was talking to my stylist and she told me that I should look in to cosmetology because of my eye for detail in my photography. I always enjoyed doing my friends hair but I never really thought I would love it like I do. That was in august of 2019 by October of 2019 I had started cosmetology school and started working part time at the salon with her. It has been the most life changing thing I have ever done and I couldn't be happier! I am so grateful for her telling me that she could tell I was not myself and to peruse a career that I could be creative with! I am still currently enrolled at Aveda Chapel Hill and I'm so happy I found what I love to do.
