Skylar Schuring

I started wearing makeup when I was 4 years old for cheerleading and dance competitions and I have been in love with it ever since. When I was in middle school, I spent my free time watching makeup tutorials and practicing on myself. This is also sparked an interest in finding a skincare routine.

I went to Cleveland State University to study physical therapy, but shortly learned it was not the career path for me. I took the credits I earned there and transferred to Cuyahoga Community College and received an associate degree in art and an associate degree in small business management.

After a long talk with an old friend, I realized I should pursue a career in esthetics because I have a strong passion for it. After I pass state board, I would like to work for a salon for a couple of years before I open my own loft. My long term goal is to start an esthetic salon where I can provide follow estheticians a safe space to create beautiful results.
