About me
I am a West Michigan native, born and raised, with a lifelong passion for beauty that has only grown stronger over the years. From braiding my sisters’ hair to giving myself kitchen haircuts, cosmetology has always been a part of my life.
After graduating high school in 2023, I initially planned to pursue a career in cosmetology but chose to delay my education for personal reasons. In June 2025, I decided to take a chance on myself and enrolled at Tulip City Beauty College. While I had some expectations going into the program, the experience quickly became more than I imagined. I fell in love with the industry, discovered a passion for many aspects of cosmetology, and reignited a desire to continuously learn and grow.
As I continue my education and begin building my career, I hope to expand my opportunities on the East Coast and continue developing my skills for years to come. I am passionate about helping people feel confident and beautiful while providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to maintain their look and feel their best every day.

Why I'm here
In 2023, I experienced a traumatic car accident that resulted in a brain injury. Following the accident, I faced significant challenges and uncertainty about my future. At the time, I struggled to imagine myself continuing my education or maintaining a career.
Before my accident, I had been exploring the possibility of attending Tulip City Beauty College (TCBC). Throughout my recovery, the staff remained supportive, checking in periodically and encouraging me to keep my educational goals in mind. Their continued support played an important role in helping me regain confidence in myself and my future.
After taking a tour of the school, I discovered a passion for the beauty industry. During my recovery, hair became a form of self-expression and healing. Experimenting with color and style allowed me to rebuild confidence and reconnect with my creativity.
Since enrolling at TCBC, I have found a genuine passion for helping others feel beautiful and confident. My journey has taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in new possibilities. I am committed to building a future that reflects my goals and passions rather than the limitations I once feared.
I also hope to inspire others facing cognitive challenges or life-altering circumstances. Through my experience, I want others to know that growth and success are possible, even when the path forward seems uncertain. Sometimes, all it takes is encouragement, determination, and the courage to take the next step.
Additional Information
Provide green apron service, make quality drinks persicely and promptly. Interact with clients and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
