All About Me – Tacori Martinez | Hairstylist
My name is Tacori Martinez, and I’m a passionate hairstylist who recently graduated from cosmetology school in May. Although I’m newly licensed, I’ve been working with hair for over a year and a half, combining my hands-on experience with formal education to build a strong foundation in the beauty industry.
During my time in school, I focused on soaking in as much knowledge and technique as possible. I discovered a real love for vivids and blonding services, where I could express creativity and precision to bring bold, personalized looks to life. In addition to hair, I also have a growing passion for makeup artistry, and I enjoy exploring new ways to enhance natural beauty.
Now that I’ve graduated, my top priorities are to grow my clientele, continue sharpening my skills, and perfect my craft as a stylist. I’m committed to ongoing learning, staying on top of trends, and building meaningful relationships with clients based on trust and great service.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to continue evolving in an industry that allows me to make people feel confident and beautiful every day.

Why I’m Here
I’m here because I’m deeply passionate about the beauty industry and committed to growing as a stylist. After graduating from cosmetology school in May and gaining over a year and a half of hands-on experience, I’m ready to take the next step in my career — continuing to refine my skills, especially in color, vivids, and blonding, while building strong, lasting relationships with clients.
As a queer stylist, it’s important to me to create a space that feels safe, inclusive, and affirming for everyone who sits in my chair. I want people — especially those in the LGBTQ+ community — to feel seen, celebrated, and fully themselves when they’re with me. Hair and beauty are powerful forms of self-expression, and I take pride in supporting that journey for each person I work with.
I’m looking for a salon that values creativity, authenticity, and community. I thrive in environments where learning is ongoing, collaboration is encouraged, and individuality is respected. I’m here not just to grow technically, but to build a career that’s rooted in purpose and genuine connection.
