Taneasha Hines

I am Taneasha Hines, widely known as Queen of Hair Illusions—a licensed Master Cosmetologist, Extension Specialist, Hair-Loss Specialist, and Trichologist Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. I began my journey at Dudley Beauty College in Washington, D.C., graduating in 2003, where I built a strong foundation in hair care, professionalism, and client service. In April 2021, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, to expand my vision and launch PHD Hair Solutions, a medical hair-loss facility and extension studio, and PHD Advanced Hair Training, my mentorship and digital education platform.

My expertise spans precision cutting, advanced color, textured hair care, and non-surgical hair replacement, including cranial prosthesis, mesh integration, and alopecia solution systems. I’m certified in Bellami Professional Extensions (K-Tips, I-Tips, Tape-Ins, Volume Wefts, and Hand-Tied Wefts) and have completed advanced barbering studies at Pro Fresh Barber Academy, strengthening my mastery in cutting and men’s grooming to better serve clients experiencing hair loss.

While I love creating seamless transformations behind the chair, my greatest passion lies in education. Through PHD Advanced Hair Training, I empower stylists through one-on-one mentorship, workshops, and digital courses focused on artistry, entrepreneurship, and mindset. My mission is to “pass it on”—helping beauty professionals build confidence, financial stability, and six-figure careers while advancing inclusivity and excellence across the beauty industry.
