I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago by a single mother. My mother taught me and my sibling the importance of hardwork and dedication, she also taught me the importance of self care starting with your hair. Growing up I was bullied for having short thick hair this Developed my love for hair. Itayght myself how to take care of my hair and years later my love for hair expanded into a love for nails, makeup and color! This is when I knew cosmetology was my passion .
