Ta’Vona Callender

Hello,My name is Ta’Vona. I am a Cosmo student from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am passionate about people and fashion. I know when you look good, you feel good and that is what I strive to do everyday. Beauty and making people feel good is what makes me happy and keeps me going. I am a free spirit who loves traveling and enjoying life. Getting into the industry started when I was in elementary school, my Mom was a licensed cosmotologist that brought me to the shop with her everyday and taught me about the business and industry growing up. I learned alot from my Mother and attended a couple of cosmetology schools to gain experience/knowledge as well. I’ve been doing hair since I was young and always enjoyed doing it on my friends and family...people used to tell me “Your so good, why dont you go to school and get your license”...and it just stuck with me plus it was always a passion. So, I went back to school despite all the trials and tribulations, the background I came from, everything made me push harder and never want to give up and here I am, just getting started back, in it for the long run and ready to complete my goal. This is where I want to be, this is what makes me happy?
