I am, first and foremost, an artist. I love getting my hands busy to create weird and gory things. I originally went to school for fine arts, looking to do freelance work, but shortly figured that i should get a more steady job. Naturally, I figured that cosmetology would be a perfect balance between creativity and stability. However, at the time, I envisioned myself doing costume makeup for something like the walking dead or something similar. After finishing school, I realized that I had mostly learned about hair and just continued on that path, growing and expanding. I’m currently at a salon that I LOVE (the staff is amazing and we’re always having classes to further our knowledge in the beauty industry.) There is only one way I could picture myself enjoying my career moreso than I currently do. That is, by being an educator and being able to travel and teach through Pulp Riot.
