About me
Born and raised from Akron Ohio. Left home at the age of 23 to join and server in The US Army. Where I served 10.5 years with 3 combat tours. I knew after my time in the military I wanted to give back in my own way. I’ve always been in love with the Beauty and Fashion industry, but always having the hardest time finding beauty within myself due to having problematic skin. I knew that if I could understand and treat my own skin, I could in return help someone else in my community see the beauty in themselves. A person with problematic skin can often feel unwanted and less desirable. Once that person can see and feel a change to their skin, it will then change their inter thoughts and feelings of themselves. That is the joy I look forward to feeling in this industry of Esthetics.

Why I'm here
Once I decided to pursue a career in Esthetics, I told myself that I was going to take advantage of every opportunity that came my way. Where I live I knew I didn’t have any mentors or people around me who I could pick their brains about this industry. Thats why when I found out that the Professional Beauty Association had a program that students could enter to have a chance to do just that, I didn't want to miss the chance. This opportunity was brought to my attention by one of my instructors. I did my research on the web, youtube, Instagram, Facebook and got instantly excited. I emailed my instructor back and told her I was interested in applying. A opportunity I didn’t want to miss, a chance to network within the Beauty Industry. I chance to see how far I can go with my career choice. The fact the PBA turns back to help the next up and coming artist is amazing to me.
