I'm Tekena—a Chicago-based hairstylist with nearly 12 years of experience behind the chair.
My specialties include fashion colors, dimensional blonding, razor-cut shags, mullets, layered cuts, and retexturizing treatments such as keratin services, relaxers, and perms. Healthy hair and thoughtful craftsmanship are at the core of my work. For me, hairstyling blends precise technique with creative intuition, always aiming to complement the client's individual style.
I genuinely love what I do and thrive in salon environments that value artistry, collaboration, and community.
