About me
I'm Terry Golden, a 21 year old hairstylist. I'm originally from Chicago, IL but I've lived in many places including different cities in IL, different cities in Indiana, and Iowa. I've never had things handed to me. I didnt have a "silver platter." I've seen my family struggle my whole life ,and this last move I made to ATL is to break this cycle. I started working at 13 in order to get the things I needed. Throughout the struggles I've endured, doing hair was the one thing that kept me going. I love doing hair and I love the feeling I get when I see a happy client get up from my style seat. I consider myself multitalented because I do hair, makeup, music, art, design and more! I strive to be the best I can be and to continue to do what I love and in the process of doing what I am passionate in I want to obtain generational wealth.

Why I'm here
I plan to build my empire here. I want my own one-stop shop where you can get your hair, nails, makeup, and waxes done. I also want clients to be able to shop my clothing line and partnering clothing lines in my shop. I want to provide somewhere women can get everything they need done. Being apart of Aveda is part of my journey towards success. They are steering me towards the phenomenal, successful life and career I desire! I'm here to further my career. I want my cosmetology license so I can own my own establishment and get the certifications I need. Being here at Aveda is helping me in different areas of cosmetology like professionalism, neatness, and providing professional work in general.
