Founded by Ryan Batten in May 2018, the shop carries on a family legacy of barbering rooted in the Raleigh community. Ryan's grandfather, RC Batten, was also a Raleigh barber, giving The Nut deep local roots. The team — Ryan, Brent, and Devin — brings a diverse blend of artistry, creativity, and heart to every appointment. From shear cuts and sincere dialogue to a welcoming atmosphere for all, The Nut is more than a barbershop. It's a place to pause, reset, and reconnect. Open Monday through Saturday by appointment.
