I am a cosmetologist working on my master esthetic license to add to my salon services.  I am excited for the future of my salon.i have owned and ran MaDeSigN salon for 8 years and have a great back story to why my salon exists and her name was Arlene.  Arlene was my very first client in cosmetology school and when taking her to the shampoo bowl so nervous i was shaking I let go of the hose and drowned her.  Never thinking she would return I was completely surprised a week later when she showed up and announced she had already had her shower and didn’t need another.  Arlene and I became best of friends and she followed me through my career until I made the decision to quit doing hair due to issues with family and passed Arlene to another colleague Two weeks later her daughter called me telling me that Arlene was miserable and would I please come and due her hair in their home.  My husband and I decided to open a small salon in my home for family and Arlene and if it went further then great if not then it was worth it anyway.  8 years later even though dear Arlene is no longer with me, the salon is going strong.i hope to add another room for my esthetics services soon after I am finished with my education and excited to start as well as hope to teach again soon.
