About me
Hi! My name is Trista. I'm 21 years old and currently a recent cosmotology graduate at Summit Salon Academy in Tacoma. I live here in Washington with my husband, and grew up along the west coast. That being said, it makes sense to say I am a super outdoorsy person. Washington is a incredible place! I have a super supportive family who's been cheering me along this new journey, and I'm so excited to see where this road take me!

Why am I here?
I love all things beauty. Ever since I was a little girl, I always gravitated towards hair and makeup. I rememebr rummaging through my mom's makeup bag and ruining her L'Oréal lipsticks, or watching YouTube tutorials teaching me new hair styles to try. Back then, I had no idea cosmetology was opportunity I could purse, yet peruse a career that actually makes me happy. But sometimes your dreams become passion, and passion becomes reality. If you would have asked me 10 years ago "Trista, what do you want to be when your grow up?" I probably would have said "A mermaid." But when you ask me now, I can passionately and honestly tell you, I want to make people feel beautiful inside an out. I want to learn and challenge myself, and meet people who help me grow. I want to do what I love for as long as I can in this lifetime. That's why I chose cosmotology, and this industry will forever be my passion.
