I am 26 years old, I grew up in Minnesota in a smaller area. I was raised by my mother with a brother and sister. My family is my rock, we are very close though my siblings are still in the Midwest, I moved to Arizona for my mother.
I am outgoing, passionate and I consider myself to be very open minded. Especially so early on in a new career, it is too early to be closed off. I want to be a sponge in these first few years entering a new field.
When I was younger I loved modeling and acting, the atmosphere was a place that sparked my interest. It truly brought me joy but unfortunately my family wasn't able to help me fully commit to a career so young that required sacrifices like potentially moving out the Midwest into a bigger city. I then spent my young years focused on track with lead me to run for Minnesota State Track team. That was my life, but it never brought me happiness that way sitting in my room playing with my hair and makeup, or installing wigs did. That brought me peace.

I always loved hair and makeup, anything fashion related. Being the friend or family member that was trusted to do everyone's hair and makeup was always such a compliment for me. I found a love and passion in doing wig installs at a young age, way to embrace my curly hair with things like extensions or making drawstring ponytails look seamless and natural. In college I became known for switching my hair up everyday, because I lover experimenting with new styles on myself and soon, others as well.
I went to college to continue running track and field, I got my degree in mass media and majored in communications. Once I graduated I soon realized, the field I chose wasn't the field that would make me happy.
I then after a year of working side jobs and learning how to do different braid technique, came to the decision that the thing I looked at as a fun hobbie, could be my job. Something that could truly make me happy, making others feel beautiful and confident. I applied for Penrose Academy in Scottsdal, Arizona, shortly after.
I hope to work on set work one day, with movie sets or runway work. Mastering the art of all hair textures, extensions, cuts and styles.
