I'm a Brooklyn-born, Muslim-raised Hijabi now living in the DFW area. I grew up in an environment that thrived on the slogan "hustle and bustle." I feel like that directly translates into the way I perform in my professional life because I have always been someone who thrives on more—more knowledge, more experience, and more journeys.

As someone who grew up in NYC, catering to hijabi Muslim women in salons is prevalent because of the large population of us in that area. In DFW, that's something that's extremely lacking. Not only do I want to open my own salon that caters to hijabi Muslim women, but I also want to help promote/ bring more awareness to the lack of accommodation at salons in DFW.
