We’re welcoming hairstylists at every stage of their journey, from newly licensed professionals looking for hands-on mentorship to experienced stylists ready for a supportive new environment. Our culture is professional but approachable, with a team that values collaboration, continued education, and helping each other grow. For newer stylists, growth starts with support. Canyon River offers a six-to-eight-week assistant program, providing the opportunity to train alongside Teddy and other master stylists before stepping fully behind the chair.

Canyon River supports its stylists with health insurance, supplemental insurance, salon-paid in-house education, employee spa-service trades, flexible scheduling, and PTO for full-time employees. The salon operates Tuesday through Saturday, with both full-time and part-time scheduling possibilities.

Most importantly, this is a salon that believes growth looks different for everyone. Whether you’re learning how to build confidence behind the chair or looking for a new place to continue an established career, you’ll have the space, education, and support to keep moving forward.

For established stylists, it’s a chance to bring your experience into a salon that still believes there is always something new to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customized cutting, coloring, styling, conditioning, and treatment services

• Perform services in alignment with Aveda protocols

• Consult with guests to understand their goals and recommend styles, treatments, and products

• Stay current on hair trends, techniques, products, and professional education

• Maintain a clean, safe, professional workspace

• Build strong, lasting guest relationships through thoughtful service
