At Floyd’s 99 Nashville Yards, we’re looking for a licensed Hairstylist/Cosmetologist who wants more than just a place behind the chair. This is an opportunity to build a loyal clientele, continue developing your craft, and work in a laid-back environment where music, individuality, and personality are all part of the experience.
Nolensville is a community built around relationships, and the clientele reflects that. Clients return every three to four weeks, families grow with the shop, and a 70% rebooking rate gives you the opportunity to build consistency rather than constantly starting over.
The Numbers
You’ll receive guaranteed hourly pay or commission—whichever is higher on every check—plus tips.
$16/hour guaranteed floor or 44%+ commission, whichever is higher
Team members averaged $46/hour all-in, including tips, over the last six months*
Approximately 40 tickets per chair, per week
$42 average ticket
22% average tip
70% client rebooking rate
Commission paid weekly
Tips paid daily

You’ll Be Great Here If...
You hold an active Tennessee cosmetology license, or will be licensed before your start date
You’re available 4–5 days per week, including some evenings and Saturdays
You enjoy working with a steady flow of clients and building lasting relationships
You’re comfortable working across a range of hair services and are open to continuing your education
You’re motivated to grow your skills, clientele, and earning potential
You want the freedom to bring your own personality and style to work
New graduates who meet licensing requirements are welcome
