Gordon Salon is a family-owned Salon! You can find the Owners, Tony & Pam Gordon behind the chair at various Salon locations.

We believe in mentoring new & seasoned stylists, providing inspiring educational opportunities, and maximizing everyone’s individual strengths & skills. We help our stylists build financially abundant careers while maintaining a flexible lifestyle.

At Gordon Salon we believe in education. For new Stylists entering the industry we have a 9 month advanced training program called the Gordon Emerging Artist Program. This program was developed to elevate a Stylist skill level in haircutting, hair coloring, styling, product knowledge, and soft skills for career growth. A new Stylist can be behind the chair in as little as 12 weeks. For experienced Stylists (2 or more years) are able to start behind the chair right away. We will require models, and test outs to ensure your skill level and will customize an education plan based around your level of expertise. For all Stylists we offer a variety of Advanced Education with some of the top industry professionals to help keep you inspired, improve your skills, and maintain your professional cosmetology licenses for CEU. Advanced education classes are offered all year and approximately 1-4 times a month.

We are a team based salon and offer hourly, commission, and/or salary payment for our employees based off what is best for them. Pay rate is determined based on many factors for a Stylist - average retail sales, average service sales, prebook percentage, year(s) behind the chair, year(s) as Gordon employee, engagement, accolades, attitude, ect. Monthly one-on-ones are scheduled with your location manager and quarterly one-on-ones are scheduled with the Owner, Tony Gordon to discuss performance & goals.

Evanston Hours: Sunday-Monday > Closed. Tuesday > 8AM-5PM. Wednesday > 1PM-8PM. Thursday > 11AM-8PM. Friday > 9AM-4PM. Saturday > 9AM-4PM.

Glenview Hours: Sunday-Monday > Closed. Tuesday > 8AM-8:15PM. Wednesday > 12:30PM-8:30PM. Thursday > 8AM-8:15PM. Friday > 10AM-5:30PM. Saturday > 8AM-5PM.
