Assistant
As an associate you will assist master stylists. Your duties will include finishing, shampooing, retailing, station prep and customer transition between cut and color. Associates apply color and assist with highlighting/balayage color applications.
Your goal as an intern is to develop the skills and habits required to be successful on your own. Through immersion in the day to day working world of a top performing professional and hands on classes with an educator.
The intern program is self paced; duration will vary according to your skill level, work ethic, ability to handle clients and ability to get models. The Associate program pays hourly.
* You must be currently licensed in Washington to begin the Associate program.

The Hair Lounge is a cultural experience, with its urban decor and artwork display, it’s equal parts salon and art gallery. The staff travel internationally working: fashion, hair, editorial, and film.
Yet still, they maintain a family feel.
This may be because one-fourth of the 20 staff members have worked together for over two decades.
