Founded by celebrity hairstylist Nadia Vassell, our SoHo-based salon was born from a desire to solve the common frustrations women faced in the beauty industry—inconsistency, lack of professionalism, and long wait times. Nadia saw an opportunity to create a better experience for Black women, one rooted in efficiency, comfort, and care.
Starting with chair rentals in Manhattan, she built a salon culture focused on streamlined systems, client safety, and seamless service. What began as a vision quickly evolved into what many of our clients now call “the elevated salon experience.”
Today, Nadia Vassell Salon proudly serves over 400 clients each month, continuing to redefine what it means to deliver luxury, professionalism, and healthy hair-care for all textures.
