We are currently seeking an energetically driven individual who is looking to further their career within the hair industry. Upon hire, we provide immediate on-the-job training as well as free-access to educational classes to help foster your professional and personal growth within the field.
As an assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing quality customer service
- Assisting stylists at both the directorial and master levels
- Applying color and glazes on clients
- Mixing color for stylists
- Gathering and preparing supplies prior to appointments
- Cleaning, restocking, sterilizing, and maintaining overall appearance of salon
- Upholding strong product knowledge
- Occasionally answering phones in order to assist with booking/scheduling appointments

Self Indulgence Hair Studio is a boutique salon specializing in personalized hair color and style to suit the needs of each and every client. We have been servicing the Bergen County-area for over four years in our studio that houses colorists with up to 30 years experience. Our salon holds exceptional standards while using some of the top-name brands in the industry such as Wella, Redkin, Davines, Olaplex, and K-18 to name a few.
