At Sit Still Kids Salon in Brooklyn, we’re not just giving haircuts — we’re becoming part of family routines, first milestones, school picture days, confidence boosts, and memories kids carry with them for years.

We meet many of our clients at their very first haircut… and our goal is to still be their salon when they leave for college.

And honestly? It’s a lot of fun.

Our salon was intentionally designed differently. Parents can relax with a sparkling water while kids sit in custom cars, pick glitter tattoos, add sparkle strands, try temporary color, or leave with a fresh cut and a huge boost of confidence.

We’re warm, community-focused, supportive, family-like, and full of personality.

Who Thrives Here

You’re likely a great fit if you:

• Have a current New York cosmetology or barber license
• Have 2+ years of salon experience
• Are experienced in performing a wide range of haircutting services, including both long and short styles.
• Enjoy a fast-paced appointment flow

• Enjoy creating experiences, not just haircuts

Compensation

• $20–$23/hour based on experience
• Great tips from a loyal clientele
• 10% commission on product sales
