At The Groom House, balance is intentional. The Groom House is an elevated New York City salon built around thoughtful service, strong technique, and a team that genuinely works together. With just eight chairs and a close-knit group of professionals, you’re not stepping into an environment where you’re expected to simply fill a chair. You’re joining a team where expectations are clear, support is available, and everyone plays a part in creating an exceptional experience.
We’re looking for an experienced, New York-licensed hairstylist with at least two years behind the chair who already has a strong foundation and is ready for their next chapter. You should feel confident working independently while also appreciating the structure, standards, and collaboration that come with being part of an established salon.
And because doing great work shouldn't require giving up your life outside the salon, The Groom House operates on a four-day workweek designed with work-life balance in mind.
