Vivid Salon is seeking a motivated Salon Assistant who is at the beginning of their career and serious about growing in the hair industry. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who has completed a hair program and is ready to immerse themselves in a professional, education-focused salon environment. Previous assisting experience is an asset, but not required for the right person.

At Vivid, this position is built as a pathway. You'll work closely with experienced stylists, support daily salon flow, and gain exposure to advanced techniques across haircutting, balayage, extensions, colour, styling, and client care. Our team prioritizes education at a high level, including mentorship connected to DVColour and continued investment in technical training.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build the foundation for a long-term career behind the chair.

What You'll Do

• Assist stylists with daily salon operations and client services
• Support shampooing, blow-drying, colour preparation, client prep, and service flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment
• Help with laundry, product organization, station reset, and general salon upkeep
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Observe and learn advanced salon techniques in a hands-on environment
• Take direction, apply feedback, and continue developing your technical and professional skills
